Airtel Partnered With South Korea: On Wednesday, Airtel had announced the strategic connection with South Korean telecom operator SK Telecom. Which known for using latest technologies, to develop the most advanced telecom network and 5G in India, Airtel partnered with SK.

For 5G, to evolve standards, the two companies will also collaborate on an on going basis. And advanced technologies like network function virtualization, software defined networking and Internet of Things, Bharati Airtel said in a statement.

In the Indian context, the companies will jointly work towards creating an enabling ecosystem for the introduction of these technologies. Bharati Airtel chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal said that “This partnership will bring a dramatically improved experience to the Airtel customers in India. By leveraging the experience of a company that has built one of the best mobile broadband networks in the world.”

To the network experience, the capacity to identify, monitor and deliver improvements on an individual device basis will have first in India, helped by SK Telcom global leadership in this area, the statement said.

With more than 29 million mobile subscribers, SK Telecom has Korea largest telecommunications company that accounts for about 50 percent of the entire market.
